JNIT has made concerted efforts to align its R&D focus with the national goals of achieving technological competence and self-reliance. The integration of learning and R&D has placed new challenges on the physical and virtual learning environments of campus. Student-centered R&D has shifted learning outside of the classroom and away from traditional schedules. The faculty undertakes research projects in thrust areas in science and engineering funded by various national and international agencies. Many are also working on missions of national importance. Typically in a year, there are so many ongoing sponsored projects Open, competence based R&D environment – development labs – have been created for the campus, and communities of shared expertise have arisen to promote competence. At the same time, a shared, long term operating structure has been created with the employment sector.
As the industry assumes an increasingly important role as partner and financier, the institute’s R&D endeavors are also becoming industry-oriented for mutual benefit of the students and industry. Students of the various streams are used to visit Industries and Corporate sectors to get the practical exposure of technology and working environment. Learning environments support the development of expertise networks and promote interaction, whereby new learning is created and tools, concepts and skills are adopted. From the point of view of R&D cell of JNIT, learning environments are innovative environments for development characterized by an atmosphere that promotes learning. Projects implemented in different networks from another learning environment. e-Learning, social media and virtual labs make latest technology important for the students.
Following student’s projects have been selected in “DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, RAJASTHAN”.
